Obstetric fistula occurs when a young woman experiences a difficult or prolonged birth that leaves a hole in her birth canal and causes her to leak urine constantly. Rejected by her community, she lives in despair and shame because of something she can’t control. Women with fistula need medical care and a safe place to stay. Jesus came to give restoration and you can give a woman the restoring care she needs to experience healing and rejoin her community. You can remove her shame and heal her body and heart.
